first day of school

was a nightmare. an utter horrifying nightmare. sigh. for the record, i hate ih assignments. they're so... massive. sigh. i know i'm throwing a childish hissy fit right now, but what the heck.

The Happening

watched it today. my verdict, not worth the money. go buy donuts instead. or you could do both, like me :D

anyway the story line isnt very strong. if it were a compo, i think it'll get about... 18/30. the plot is mainly just a lot of run ons, without a resolution at the end. it lacks impact and is nothing spectacular. it's mainly a lot of gore, like when some guy got his arms ripped off at the elbows by tigers or some guy got run over by a large lawn mower. yeps, definitely a gory one. but if you're looking for gore, final destination has that, plus a better story line.

so movie summary. something's causing ppl to kill themselves, they don't know what. so basically the people just keep trying to run from it. and of course, as in most movies, the leads survive and have happily ever after. at the end of the movie, you don't find out whats killing the people. really disappointing.

pfft. i hate it when my sis comes by and starts an arguement when im skinning :(

now i sort of lost the momentum and i'm stuck. but what the heck. i got a new sling bag. its the rugsack back from zinc :D i think i'll bring it to shanghai at the end of the year.

oh and i went to get a passport size photo for my nric today (!!) and yeahs, the guy advised me to wear a polo tee so my mum and i wandered around bedok looking for a polo tee that i might one day wear again. so bought one, it's blue, and now i officially own one non school collared shirt. and the photo looks damn uglay. like my head was tilted (how was i supposed to know, it's not like i can see myself) and shoulders slanted and yeah. looks really weird. and my mum made me push a lot of my fringe back so now it just looks stupid :(

and i don't think i'll be wearing the polo tee anytime soon.

bs outing!

bs outing was really fun today. well in a weird way it was. hahas. when i first got to bedok mrt right, didn't know where they were so i wandered around like the gundu i am until i found this group of ppl sitting at the side. so i like stared. and laughed. and stared somemore. and i think there was more laughing. -.- but yeahs in the end took 196 to east coast and we didnt know where to alight but by some stroke of luck, we got off and found ourselves at the underpass which eventually led to the bbq pit (with some walking of course).

to be honest, i have to agree with sylvia. everyone was very different from how i expected them to be. like seriously different but what the heck. bs outing was cool :D

for some unfathomable reason, i decided to try to get into my neopets account today. and after some fiddling here and there, i finally got the password right. and neopets has changed like so much. and i feel like such a noob lols. zzz. man... my account was created in like march 28 2002. thats like SIX YEARS ago. like *gasp*

if i had played like some obscenely obsessed person, i wonder what my account would be like. but then again, i'm quite glad i stopped :X not that i have anything against neopets, just that i've played quite a number of games since then. runescape (which i forgot my password), powerpets (which i forgot both user and password -.-), maple (which is way too freaky now too), and audi... and i wonder what else.

let's see. hmms. 2002 would be p3... so that was neopets. then p4... i started runescape, or maybe it was later. p5 started maple? i think so. maple and maybe powerpets for a short while... after that quit maple in sec 1. started reading fanfic :D like at the end of the year. and then... sec 2 started audi. and now... blogskinning. hahaha.

AHHH~! lols. for like, awhile just now, my com went wacky on me. like the my computer couldn't work and my internet explorer wouldn't work and everything sort of hung. and died and then my virus scan couldn't work but thank the powers that be cause everything is back to normal again.

so yes, moral of the story is, if you don't wanna kena fail your exam, don't study in the toilet.

also, some very superstitious gamblers don't allow their children to study in front of them in the morning cause the chinese pronunciation of book is like shu which is the same as lose. so yeahs, but children are supposedly more receptive to information in the morning.

i'm a bittergourd

and i've never eaten one before o.O hehs. bom training today was quite fun, surprisingly. i think i'm addicted to chewing gummm! ahhh! it's the only thing that keeps me awake. and i was so damn sleepy today cause i had to wake up at like 5.30. reached school about 7.30 and was thoroughly woken up when lao shi drove passed waving in that very happy lao shi way. and then ang jl drove passed as well and he was like... stone. then suddenly his hand bobbed up and down. zzz. weird teachers. my dad seems to think lao shi is like, a china woman. *gasp*

but yeah so for the bom training they made us light this candle thing which looked vaguely like a cowbell and then went about doing stations. zzz. then they did the weird kidnapping thing and oh, we were in four groups so four ppl were like dumped at the staircase to the shooting range there. so me and amanda and two sec 1s were like kidnapped and so sat there stoningggggg away before our groups found us. and the way they kidnapped xing ning was so... lame. they like told her miss sabrina wanted to see her and like gah. i still think they should have just used potato sacks.

so basically my group finished first, heh heh. but our poor candle sort of burnt out at our last station, so there was this short stump left in the toilet cause it got too hot to hold. like what a crappy place to like.... die off. then after that we played this game. its like the obs one where you run, meet in the center and play scissors paper stone, cept when you crash ur supposed to sit down to avoid violence. o.O but then my group like lost so the other group sprayed water at us with those really cute water guns that looked like polka dotted green dinosaurs :D

after that was some lecture on youth day fun fair and i freaked out when i realised elsa hasnt started. it's on 4th july! ahhhh~! and bea goes on holiday tmr morning so there goes one committee head. and ying is like. in china. *flails hand in that retarded kai way*

so yeahs we had that talk called team building, the "yong tau fu" way. basically it was quite fun, and ms chee (the one that used to be a dean or sth) showed us some short video clips and some were from that qi gong zhu korean show! but damn sad younan didn't appear :(

hahas. went shopping today :D and i got this really cool pants with detachable suspenders! hahahas. suspenders are cooooool. and my sis went into a tie craze. o.O but heck, ties are cool but really ex. and my sis seems to like stuff with skulls on it. don't see the draw of it though. but heck. suspenders :D hahahaha.

and bugis street is so creepy. so much gothic-like clothing. like black red white and lace and things! hahaha. OHHHH. but 77th street has this reallyyyy cute bag! its like a sling, that's like black and red. it's black on the outside and the outside is like zippable so it's like unzipping a jacket and then theres a red checkered thingy inside. hahas i think that made no sense. but heck, it's damn cute! sadly, it's like 43 bucks or around there and i'm brokeeee :(

oh but it's like, the great singapore sale now, which really rocks cause i think i'll get myself a rabbit bag or some other bag as a present to myself :D been planning on getting a new sling bag for a longggg time. like one that's quite large. but not too large. like those zinc/ink gurney sack thingys. heh gurney sacks. but don't really like the one made of that cloth-y thing. probably will get one that's soft leather-y or something.
