Limelight was awesome! :D:D
Kind of. If you don't count that bit about walking home in heels.
Today, I saw this really cute cat sticking his/her/its head out between the window bars. So I took a picture. But now my phone has gone bonkers on me so I can't upload the pic :(
And..I'm gonna have dinner at 9.30 -.- because my brother has decided that he wants to eat nice tasty junk food. So I had to order in. Not him coz he wants to sleep. Bloody hell. Could have just walked to the hawker centre and got myself dinner. But no....
Anyway,
BLOCKS are ROUND THE CORNER!!!!!!!
P.S. Kai, I deleted it

hello there pretty
i think i'm in love with receiving packages in the mail. it's just so exciting to pick up this massive envelope and eagerly tear it apart to behold the prize within.
though i think this isn't a very healthy attraction for my bank account, i can't seem to help myself, particularly with everything being so accessible on the net and homework being so repugnant. it's so easy to just leave a comment, reply an email, then stop by an atm to make payment. even making payment is fun! :O
gee, i really hope this is just a passing phase before my mum sees the balance left in my account and faints.
and singapore's weather should just drop 5degrees.

wear that middle finger proud
屋漏偏逢连夜雨,船沉又遇打头风。今天实在是太倒霉了。
i was out with my mum and sis today and at the mrt platform, some guy tried to fine me for drinking water. i've seen people eating and drinking every time i go to an mrt and yet it had to be today of all days. what's more, i only took my bottle out cause my sis wanted water and i didnt want to give her and my mum insisted i did. so i took it out and since it was out, took a small sip and passed it to her. she then proceeded to gulp it down like a mammoth. then some time passed and this mrt staff walked up looking all official and important and asked for my identity. and because it's truly part of the singaporean character to mind everyone's business, a cleaning lady walked up and started shrieking “就是她!就是她在喝水!” while jabbing her broom at me. and because no one likes to miss out on the fun, some other auntie went up and asked, “baby 可以喝水吗?” and proclaimed shock when the guy said no. in the end the guy took down my name and school and somehow he seemed really shocked that i was 1. still schooling and 2. in nanyang. like wtf, stereotypes again. and gee, how i have been disillusioned.
regardless, i came home today and again by some random twist of fate i decided to play pet society even though i've quit for months. and then i got scammed -.- someone up there must really hate me.
and now i'm feeling feverish but i still have to go to school. i need to find myself a greener patch of grass soon.

Great Minds Think Alike
HAHAHA LOLS
Hmm once upon a Sunday afternoon, I was seriously considering writing another story all about this little city where people choose their dying day. WELL. There's a reason plot bunnies remain plot bunnies and not plot hares or plot wolf-in-sheep's-clothing or stories. But PLOT BUNNIES.
Still, this proves a theory.
Since Kai = Great Mind,
Me = Kai at this particular point,
Hence Me = Great Mind too! At this particular point.
Voila! My status has just been elevated from "[not-so-puny] minion" to "Great by association".
It's not exactly "AWESOME COOL" yet but i'm getting there.

if today was your last day
sometimes i wonder how it feels like to be able to count down to the day of you death. i suppose it'd be like working with a deadline. you'll know when you're running out of time, and you know how to plan your remaining days such that you get everything into order and you die happy.
if you were to die in say, 3months, then your priorities would change so drastically. studies, university, career planning, they wont matter. you finally see the real purpose in life, which is not to slog like a bull now and hope you find happiness later when you're old and gray. i mean, there comes a certain point in time when you're no longer able to run and scream and ride rollercoasters. and when that time comes, all you'll have left to show is awards, certificates and report books.
if you were going to die tomorrow, would you spend your last day studying?
why cant we enjoy life now and study later? what's wrong with starting school when we're 30 and work when we're 40? we spend the prime of our lives sitting at desks and writing reports and occasionally paying attention during lessons.
perhaps some people do want to work; perhaps they have a dream in life and know how to achieve it. well, lucky them. but what happens to the rest of us who just want to be happy?
My best friend gave me the best advice
He said each day's a gift and not a given right
Leave no stone unturned, leave your fears behind
And try to take the path less traveled by
That first step you take is the longest stride
If today was your last day
And tomorrow was too late
Could you say goodbye to yesterday?
Would you live each moment like your last?
Leave old pictures in the past
Donate every dime you have?
If today was your last day
Against the grain should be a way of life
What's worth the prize is always worth the fight
Every second counts 'cause there's no second try
So live like you'll never live it twice
Don't take the free ride in your own life
Would you live each moment like your last?
Leave old pictures in the past
Donate every dime you have?
Would you call old friends you never see?
Reminisce of memories
Would you forgive your enemies?
Would you find that one you're dreamin' of?
Swear up and down to God above
That you finally fall in love

i can knot cherry stalks
a quest to help joey search for her soul has left me wondering why i need one. ok fine that's not true, but it sounded cool :D what ive really been wondering, ok not wondering but more like thinking, is that being a geper is extremely unfair.
first non-gepers in your generation think of you either as assholes (see retarded geper comic) or as "arrogant nerds and academic snobs who spend large amounts of time studying and have no interests in sports or other non-academic activities" (see wikipedia). so great, just because we passed some test when we were 9 years old we are officially losers.
but because we passed that same test, we are expected to be really successful in life, aka the exact opposite of a loser.
that honestly makes no sense. ok unfair stereotypes aside, the key issue that has me upset is that we are actually supposed to make it big in life. we have subsidies for our school fees and our education is mostly paid for using tax-payers' money (gee, stressful not.) so since so much effort has been poured into us, we now need to make sure we do what's expected of us and contribute back to society by becoming important people like doctors and lawyers. but what if we've (ok maybe just me) have always had a lifelong dream of rearing sheep in a farm? (and ignore the fact that singapore unfortunately has no space for such a thing)
the point is being a geper seriously limits our choices as to what we do with our lives. so if some geper ends up as a random small timer in a a small time office, the poor soul gets ostracized by non-gepers and faces disappointment from parents etc. there's so much pressure on being successful that it probably works against any attempts to be successful. unless you're seriously a really pro person then here's an early congratulations on being successful in life.
and now... i'm confused as to what ive been rambling about. point is, what on earth happens when i don't know what i want to do with my life? then again, seeing as i don't have many choices to start with, i might as well just pick one at random and go along with it.

Mentsch tracht, Gott lacht.
sigh. so much homework and none of it getting done. somehow it never occurred to me that i had to make something of myself. when i was younger i used to dream of just getting a regular 9-5 job, something with no personal commitment, and then spend my after-office hours enjoying life etc. it's really quite sad, since apparently i don't have any dream nor ambition. somehow it seems (or at least in drama serials) that the poor have big dreams and deserve to get them but cant while the rich have the means but don't know what to do with themselves.
then again, who says your dream has to be your job. why can't i just want to have a happy relaxed life. i'd always thought of a job as just a means of providing you with the funds you need to support yourself. that's all. i don't have to gain infinite amounts of happiness doing it, though it would be a great bonus if i did. and since i'm apparently not cut out to do something i thought i might enjoy, then what on earth am i going to do with myself?
Man plans, God laughs.

revenge of the fallen!
watched transformer 2 with zinc chels elsa chrissy sal bea today. ying and jen went to watch ice age three D: but anw, good movie i don't know why it got such bad reviews. sure lots of things blow up, but that's the fun part :D:D
ok that aside, i found out from alicia some time ago that apparently the 'beyond words' blogskin got commented on in that zhi tong che chinese student newspaper. and today she finally found that ancient issue and though i was dying to read it she couldn't scan it in so she kindly translated it for me :D
what hopes for the holidays?!
but oh wait! there was one more para in between!
i wonder why :/ anyway, thanks alicia! :D

this give people a very fresh simple and clean feel, but not losing the girly factor(?)!somehow it only just occurred to me that if the people who downloaded my skin had read the descrip, about 100k random users of the internet would have read whatever rubbish i wrote. and so i hurried to check if i said anything, i dno, satanic and lo behold.
the skinner here says about her hopes for the holidays and gave everyone an intro on the whole concept
and also told them how to use this skin when met any problems.
that's all
what hopes for the holidays?!
"the hols are coming! whoo hoo! hahas, can't wait."-.- but oh well, at least i had proper punctuation. hmms, intro on the whole concept...
"so yeahs. um the css is quite simple, but i just don't feel up to doing anymore coding *blah blah blah more weird rubbish i probably wrote half delirious* i have no idea why they're so large."ok i guess that counts.
but oh wait! there was one more para in between!
"the name for this skin is actually the title of one of my favourite harrypotter fanfiction. its a harry and severus one (slash, m&m, gay, whatever you call it) and it's really good.*gasp* i don't believe it. somehow they seem to have ignored the most important part of a skin -- it's inspiration. and really, they completely skipped passed my totally honest opinions on homosexuality.
love is love,baby."
i wonder why :/ anyway, thanks alicia! :D

i've kissed so many frogs but i never found a (half-blood) prince
credit: dream-traveler on dA
Cinderella are you really that happy?
Cinderella are you really that lucky?
I wanna know is your life like you dreamed?
Here I am, trying to find my way,
I've kissed so many frogs but I never found a prince.
I think they lied, I was promised much more than this,
where's my happy ever after? Oh..
Cinderella is the queen of a kingdom,
Cinderella got the dreams she was dreaming,
I wanna know where is my happy end?
Cinderella got a prince and a kingdom,
Cinderella got the dreams she was dreaming,
I wanna know where is my fairy-tale?
Something's wrong 'cause all my glass shoes break,
and no one's ever helped this damsel in distress,
To hell with this, I'm not gonna waste more time,
I won't wait to find prince charming!
